A 55-year-old man from Muzaffargarh, Punjab, Ghulam Qadir, has once again appeared in his matriculation exams, showing that age is not a barrier when it comes to education. According to local reports, this is his third attempt at the Class 9 exams after previously failing twice many years ago. Despite the long gap in his studies, he decided to give education another chance and returned to school life with full determination.
Ghulam Qadir is said to have left his studies earlier due to personal and financial responsibilities, like many people in Pakistan who are forced to step away from education at a young age. However, after years, and with encouragement from his family, especially his children, he made the bold decision to restart his academic journey. His children reportedly supported him and motivated him to complete what he had once left unfinished.
Now sitting among much younger students in the examination hall, his presence has become a symbol of hope and persistence. Locals say his story is inspiring because it shows that it is never too late to learn or chase your goals. Many people in his area are praising his courage and dedication, calling him an example for both young and old.
