Monsoon Mayhem: Rescue 1122 Responds to Flooding in Chakwal & Jhelum

The ongoing heavy monsoon rains have brought severe flooding in Pakistan, particularly in localities such as Chakwal and Jhelum. The situation is so severe that it has been declared an “emergency.”

Rescue 1122 teams are working very hard to save people stuck in the floodwaters. In Jhelum, they’ve already rescued many people from several villages.

Chakwal has had a huge amount of rain, leading to severe flooding in towns and overflowing dams. Tragically, some people have died due to the collapse of their houses.

All through Punjab, rescue services are at the peak of their preparedness. They are using many boats and trained workers to help those affected by the floods. The objective is to move people to safer places and give them needed assistance.
